        Music

Area 506 carefully hand picks its line-up – bringing you the biggest acts, introducing you to up and coming bands, and showcasing some of our region’s best talent.

This year we introduce two stages to the Area 506 festival. The Main Stage line-up is the centre-piece of our ticketed event.

                Culture & Goods

The festival aims to shine a light on the many different cultural groups, cities, towns, and villages within New Brunswick. We’ve developed our Container Village to be a space where cultural groups, vendors, artists and brands from across the province showcase what they’re about and engage with festival-goers in a new way.

This year, the Container Village is open 2:00 pm – 12:00 am on Saturday, August 5th and Sunday, August 6th – so drop by and wander the groups, sample the goods, and experience New Brunswick in small way.

                Art & Design

New Brunswick is home to world-class artists and makers, including painters, sculptors, craftspeople, designers, illustrators, and more. The Container Village is a space for these artists to create, display, and present their work.

                Food & Drink

What better way to experience New Brunswick than by sampling some of our best food and drink? This year, Area 506 will introduce the Road of Restaurants; an area for festival-goers to grab a bite from a local food stand and relax, as well as a beer garden featuring locally-made beer, wine and cider.

The Road of Restaurants is located in the Container Village and is open from 2:00 pm – 12:00 am.

Attendees can access this area during the day for those visiting the Container Village, and will remain open and accessible for those attending the ticketed concerts in the evening.
