Regular hours for shops in the Container Village are Wednesday through Sunday from 11AM to 7PM. We’ll have some extended hours when she’s alongside (that means ‘when there’s a cruise ship in — seriously, look it up) or for special events and happenings, but 11 – 7 is the standard.
When in doubt, check the Google listing, Facebook or Instagram.
Of course! There’s never a charge to visit the vendors in the Container Village. Shop, grab some lunch at a food truck, a beverage at The Docks Container Lounge and enjoy them from the top level of the viewing deck. (seriously, you have to see the view from up there!)
The only time you’d need a ticket is if there was a special event or a band or whatever on the stage. And even then, the shopping side would still be free to browse.
We love dogs! Of course, any furry/fluffy/feathered/scaly pets will need to be on a leash and on their best behaviour, but they’re welcome to browse the Vendor Village with you.
The only exception is for ticketed events in the stage area. Unless they have their own ticket, maybe?
It is not. The AREA 506 Festival tent will pop-up at Pugsley Terminal — immediately adjacent to the AREA 506 Waterfront Container Village at 85 Water St. — and continuing to Pugsley Slip. It’s a big tent, you won’t be able to miss it.
The Village will be open to coincide with the cruise ship schedule into Saint John, so we’ll be here until November.
