United in Giving: Our Partnership with United Way

As we get ready for our lineup announcement, we want to take a moment to highlight one of our most meaningful festival partners — United Way serving Saint John, Kings & Charlotte.

We’re sure you know by now, but our volunteer bartenders at both the AREA 506 Music Festival and Boxcar Country Festival dedicate their time (and tips!) to support local programs. And since 2018, this partnership has raised over $100,000 to support those facing poverty, homelessness, mental health challenges, and more.

Thanks to programs funded by United Way, people in our region have access to:

• Food security & emergency housing

• Educational programs for children & youth

• Mental health, addiction, & violence prevention support
